Robson Rak Pty Ltd is a small firm of architects currently undertaking a range of residential and commercial projects within the Melbourne metro and Victorian region, each sharing a common emphasis on innovative design, sustainability, and client value. Their aim is to consistently challenge a variety of architecture and design tasks and by means of a solid process find new solutions, ways to live, or atmospheric values. By leading a pragmatic workflow, influenced by site, program, budget or other parameters they strive to make every project unique, real and story telling.
Kathryn Robson; principal architect comes from an extensive working history in Europe and Australia. Chris Rak; principal interior architect originally comes from a hands on background in fine art sculpture (www.chrisrak.com). These differing experiences, personalities and shared perfectionism combine to create stimulating and productive design collaboration, where material and craftsmanship result in timeless and elegant architecture and interior design. Their passion lays in achieving a harmonious relationship between object and space and witnessing the ongoing transformation and experiential qualities they share.
Robson Rak’s commitment is to the design of residential and commercial spaces that ultimately provide the user with a sense of warmth and well-being; spaces that make the user feel good. With that comes an architecture that is easy to maintain and nourishes the user for years to come.
